The continues measures being taken on the global, national and business levels to contain the spread of COVID-19 is creating a new spectrum of legal issues in addition to reshuffling the importance of past ones to business, employees and the community at large. Legal concerns range from; employment, data protection and privacy, supply and value chain disruption, contract performance, to business continuity, corporate governance, financing, strategic transactions, restructuring and M&A, among others.
RETHINKING THE LEGAL SECTOR BUSINESS CONTINUITY AND RESILIENCE; CHALLENGES AND OPPORTUNITIES IN THE NEW NORMAL.
New challenges as well as opportunities are facing the legal industry. New norms are expected to emerge. What are these challenges, how the sector is responding individually and collectively, what are the best practices, and most of all, thinking forwards, where are the opportunities through the new normal.
